  1. Wat a way to start office in the new year!
Satish, am gonna kill u for directing my mind on this wen i shud be working.

but any ways, my take is reading the sentence correctly...

"Let's say, hypothetically speaking, you met someone who told you they had two children, and one of them is a girl. What are the odds that person has a boy and a girl?"

"they had two children"..emphasis here on the 'had' instead of 'have' and "one of them is a girl" with the emphasis on 'is' and not 'was'.

Hmmm...Past tense in the first part and present in the second, very interesting.

Milord...iska matlab, the person has only one surviving child.
Therefore the probability of having a boy as the second child does not exist!
    then the probability is ZERO
    wat say??

    oh BTW, happy new year

    Muhahahahhaaha!
